Richard Weiner's work (mostly acrylic and watercolor) has been exhibited at the Heckscher Museum of Art, Petite Gallery, Huntington Arts Council and other venues. His paintings are also held in several collections in New York, Chicago, New Jersey and Florida.
I began painting by doing portraits of people, such as Freud and Queen Elizabeth. Over time, my work evolved into landscapes that might be described as abstract/realism, (some call the work "expressionist".) I try to share and evoke feelings by using color and a sense of motion in the painting.
