Brazilian, born in 1955. His work is a modern and unique search for the same bright and colors of a photography but using an odd way: His paintings are done with about 20 layers of acrylic ink, each layer painted only with small 2 inches strips of the same color. When the canvas is finished, and you look from a fair distance it does look like a photo, from near a lot of small strips overlaid. His work can be found in important private contemporary art collections and 2 of his paintings have been published in the Brazilian Playboy magazine.
