Eveline Luppi's work has been heavily influenced by the New York school of abstract artists, especially De Kooning, Stuart Davis, and Lee Krasner. Her sources also include the surreal symbolism and the playful use of color of Paul Klee, and the powerfully dynamic designs of Tapies and Matisse's jazz masks.

During her career, she has exhibited in a number of galleries and competitions in New York and other parts of the country, and was active in starting the RIVA Art Association in Manhattan. Currently, she is a member of the artist community at Ward-Nasse Gallery in Soho. Her awards include the Felicia Meyers full-year scholarship at the Art Student's League in New York. She has studied full-time with Knox Martin, Larry Poons, William Scharf, and other internationally known abstract artists at the Art Student's League. She also attended RISD and Silvermine art schools.

Eveline is the daughter of a railroad family, a native-born Rhode Island artist of French-Irish descent. She has a B.S. in Child Development from the University of Rhode Island. For many years, she worked as a teacher and art therapist for special-ed children. Currently, she maintains her professional studio here at Studioworks in Rhode Island.
