Mr. Ivan's works hang in the fine art museums and galleries in Clij-Napoca, Galatzi, Zalau, Brasov, and Bucharest, Romania, as well as in numerous private collections in Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Italy, Belgium, Germany, France, Israel, and the USA.

His name is included in the "Dictionary of Contemporary Romanian Artists", "The 1985/86 Guide to Galleries, Museums and Artists" (p.282), from USA "The 1991/92 Guide to Galleries, Museums, and Artists" (p.222) , as well as in many newspapers and professional art magazines in the different countries where he has exhibited.

Educational & Professional Experience

Born: February 18, 1938, Sighisoara, Romania, Europe
Education: Graduated the "Nicolae Grigorescu" Academy of Fine Arts (l960-66) with an M.F.A. Degree.
Completed three post-graduate courses in 1969,1971, and 1978 in Art and Art History at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bucharest, Romania.

1966 to 1983, he taught at the Liberal Arts Institute in Cluj-Napoca, Romania
1967 to 1975 he was a participating artist at the National Salon of Drawing and Engraving in Romania.
Participated in the Arts Midwest/NEA Regional Fellowship for Visual Artists Context, held in 1986.
Participated as a volunteer in designing posters and pamphlets for the Rapid City Symphony League, South Dakota
