Triumph of the Ivory Tower

Ward-Nasse Gallery is pleased to announce a show
of the work of Dumitru Vonica

"Ivory Tower in Ceausescu's Dark Romania"

The exhibition covers Vonica's twenty most dynamic and productive years (60s and 70s)
with examples from early two-dimensional abstractions to mature multilayered, spatially deep
contrapuntal works, from intricate graphite drawings to curvy inks.

Works on dislpay until March, 2017

February 2 through February 28 , 2016 at Ward Nasse Gallery, NYC.
