WOMEN IN ART
The gallery Ward Nasse in Soho, New York, will celebrate this year's International Women's Day with an all-women multidisciplinary art show entitled "Women's in Art". Women of different nationalities will be displaying works in painting, drawing, sculpture, and photography, from March 1st to March 31st, 2012.
With an opening reception on Saturday, March 3, 2012, from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Ward Nasse is proud to honor women with art works by women and about women.The female sensibility will be represented by the following artists: Marta Azevedo, Veronique Besancon, Maria Rosa Braile, Jennifer Contini, Joanne Chartrand, Lucie Chicoine, Mariah Campolina, Rollande Dufault, Janick Eriksen, Nathalie Freniere, Ana Garcia, Tania Garcia, Diane Goyette, Marjorie Wood Hamlin, Sandra Hiromoto, Beth Jabur, Judith klein, Michele Kramer, Claudia de Lara, Louise Larose, Marie Josee Leroux, LedaMaria, Tais Melillo, Sonia Michaud, Vanessa Nahoul , Solange Palatnik, Raymonde Perron, Denise Buisman Pilger, Julie Poliquin, Carla Pompeu, Luma Sanos, Gilda Solis, Monique Serres, Beruja Correia de Souza, Nancy de Souza & Marcela Vicuna.
"Women's in Art 2012" will be open to the public Tuesdays to Saturdays from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sundays from 1: 00 pm to 6 : 00 pm at 178 Prince Street NY, NY
EXHIBITION DATES: March 1, 2012 until March 31, 2012
OPENING RECEPTION: Saturday March 3rd, between 7-10 pm.
Ward-Nasse Gallery is a multi-cultural art space showing art work from artists around the world.
