Cityscapes: LifeForms in Motion

Ward-Nasse Gallery is pleased to announce "Cityscapes: LifeForms in Motion", a solo exhibition of photographs and mixed media works of Steve Lewis.

In September 2004 Steve Lewis joined the gallery and was a part of the group photography show "The Eye of the Camera". This first solo exhibition of the artist at Ward-Nasse gallery incorporates variety of themes and is a compilation of works executed in classical and modern photographic techniques. Steve Lewis strives to achieve a balance of traditional and nontraditional photographic techniques, using digital and film photography along with acrylic painting. The paintings are mixed media works combining photographic expression with acrylic on fine art paper or canvas.

The show runs from April 8th to May 1st, 2005. An opening reception, with the artist will be held at the Ward-Nasse Gallery on Saturday, April 9th from 3 -7 p.m. The gallery is located at 178 Prince Street, between Thompson and Sullivan.
