Ward-Nasse Gallery is pleased to announce the group photography exhibition "The Eye of the Camera", which opens Saturday, December 4th, from 3-7 p.m.
The exhibition will feature the artwork of Ward-Nasse Gallery members working in a variety of photographic media and styles. This diverse group of artists has created a collection of works, which achieves a balance of traditional and nontraditional photographic techniques - c-prints, digital photographs, original photographs painted with acrylic paints, prints produced from color negatives and images combining three alternative photographic processes are among the techniques featured in this show. With a masterful eye for color and composition the artists in the exhibition prove that it is the person, not the camera that creates meaningful photographs.
Exhibiting artists: Judy Alden, Robert Bailey, Caniglia, Judy Cassone, Samm Cohen, Eun Kyung Jeong, June Edwards, Vesna Ivcovic, Koh, Richard Lewis, Steve Lewis, Ben Mason, Olan, Beth Parin, Michelle Sbiroli, Milly Moorhead West.
Please join us at the cocktail reception, sponsored by Pearl Vodka on December 4th, 2004. This exhibition is located at: Ward-Nasse Gallery, 178 Prince Street, New York, NY 10012.
Hours: Tue-Sat 11 a.m. - 6 p.m., Sun 1 p.m. - 6 p.m.
