Ward-Nasse is pleased to announce" Weiner-Ucci-Minchin", a three person show by these Boston artists. In a special precedent, the entire 2,500 square feet space of the gallery will be completely transformed for a site-specific installation, involving large-scale mixed media works. Short films on the artists by Cara Ashlee will be shown at the opening reception.

DORIS WEINER
Weiner's "Neon Playground Series" is an innovative and exciting departure from the conventional way of approaching the picture-plane in painting. Her finished pieces are three-dimensional works that structurally commands space. This exciting and unique use of neon light is reflected into acrylic louvers that are used to create a virtual canvas. Moving in front of the art, the viewer has an interactive role with the work constantly discovering new spaces. Also on display are her metal sculptural works that demonstrate the fluidity of her art.

ANGELO UCCI
"My current series includes large mixed media pieces which incorporate pin hole photo based digital prints collaged with drawing, painting and textural elements. The works evoke dreamlike passages and explore the contrasts between handmade marks and mechanically generated photo-based imagery.Sometimes in this context the photos can be remarkably abstract and the handmade marks show their real physicality directly."

EDWARD MINCHIN
Minchin's current large abstract dimensional wall sculpture includes two series of works. The "Celestial Galaxy Series" created as large multi-layered wall combinations of flat unrestricted shapes in dimensionally representing time distortion. The Celestial Time-Travel series tests the imagination of the viewer in creating art in layers, which is a quantum leap in representing the dimensions of space, time and thought.

Please join us at the opening reception and meet the artists on November 8th, 2003 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Ward-Nasse Gallery at: 178 Prince Street. Gallery hours are: Tu-Sa 11 p.m. -6 p.m., Su. 1 p.m.-6p.m.
